Whisknladle turned 4 this past February and in case you didn't know, restaurants age in dog years. Therefore it's time for a little Nip & Tuck. We'll be undergoing surgery the last week in March from Monday 3/26 to Monday 4/2. No need for flowers or get well cards, simply support our other restaurants. Prepkitchen La Jolla and Prepkitchen Little Italy will be doing business as usual. See you on the flip side.
By popular request Whisknladle has moved our biweekly Supper Clubs to Saturday nights instead of Wednesdays. Every other Saturday starting on March 24th we will be hosting our unique Supper Club where you can come and dine with great food prepared by Chef Ryan himself and have it pair with exquisite wine from the WNL Cellar. The theme for March 24th, will be a Taste of Mexico, to honor our newest member of the culinary team, Chef Aldo. From there into April we will be featuring some of Chef Ryan's favorite vegetables of Spring, Morel Mushrooms, Asparagus, & Wild Ramps.
Reservations are required for all Supper Clubs and must be made over the phone. Hope to see you all soon.
Prepkitchen Little Italy is officially open and we want you to come see us!
The largest restaurant in our little family, the newest Prepkitchen location boasts a large dining room as well as a full bar and lounge area. Open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, Prepkitchen Little Italy serves the same artisanal, seasonal and handcrafted food as the other locations and also features a killer daily happy hours from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the lounge and late night happy hour from 10 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.! The bar also serves $3.50 tapas from 4pm to close each day.
We are so excited to introduce you to our newest location and to serve a whole new audience in the downtown area. Come on down to Little Italy and check out our new baby.
Friends and Family, this Sunday February 5th is Super Bowl, and we are closing down for everyone to watch the Patriots and the Giants go at on the field. All of WNL Hosp's Restaurants will be closed and just wanted to give you all a heads up. We hope that all have a great day watching the game
As we have for the past few years, Whisknladle will once again be participating in Restaurant Week San Diego. We will be doing BOTH weeks this year, so the dates will be January 15th – January 27th. As most of you know, restaurant week is a great time to get out there and explore new restaurants and the time to avoid the ones you love... That being said, this year, we're going to continue something a little different. We're not going to be offering a limited prix-fixe that gives you only a small snapshot of what a restaurant is all about and we're not looking to cram'em in. Instead, you can choose any 3 dishes (App, Entree & Dessert) off our regular dinner menu
